THE UKRAINIAN PREMIERE OF "BAZYL" MOVIE WAS HELD AT THE HOUSE OF CINEMA

On September 6th, Roman Shirman's documentary "Bazyl" was shown at The House of Cinema as part of the memorial evening devoted to Oleg Bazilevich, a prominent coach of the Dynamo team. The host of the event was the screenwriter of the film Semen Sluchevskyi.

"The film is aimed at restoring justice. And the film restores Bazilevich's name. The documentary is cool, and it is undoubtedly a success of the strong school of Ukrainian film-documentary", said after the premiere Oleksandr Donii, the head of the Center for Research of Political Values and the artistic association "Ostannya Barykada."

He was joined by the director of Common Victory production Valeriya Ivanenko. On her account, she wrote: "Personally, for me, the life story of Oleg Bazilevich, his image became a real revelation. Although not only for me. When we left the hall after the premiere, Larisa Kadochnikova said: "This is a wonderful film. It makes you think about a lot of things. You see, Bazilevich's fate is the fate of many truly talented Ukrainians who, unlike the NON-talented ones, cannot pave the way to personal well-being with their fists. Such a great movie.''

The event was organized by the Art-object company as part of the Film Community Center project.

The film was created by MAGIKA-FILM company with the support of the Ukrainian State Film Agency.
