SPECIAL SCREENING OF IVAN'S LAND IN LVIV
On November 29th, a screening of the documentary film Ivan's Land, directed by Andrii Lysetskyi, took place in Lviv.
So what is the film about? Ivan Prykhodko is one of the last folk artists of Ukraine. A self-taught painter, he lives in a village, creating naïve yet sincere art with his brushes and chisels. But will he trade his small rural home for glamorous city life? Will he swap the vast Dnipro landscapes, orchards, and fields for gallery halls and the company of art critics and agents?
The film was created with the support of the Ukrainian State Film Agency.
