THE FILM "LAND OF IVAN" WON AT THE PRESTIGIOUS FILM FESTIVAL

Andriy Lysetsky's documentary "Land of Ivan" won the main prize of the DOCU / UKRAINE program at the Docudays UA International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival.

The national competition DOCU / UKRAINE includes five films that find answers to eternal questions through the prism of personal searches of heroes.

The best films in the DOCU / UKRAINE national competition were chosen by writer and critic Michael Sicinski, programmer Myrosya Vatamanyuk, cultural manager and film curator Olga Birzul.

"Land of Ivan" by Andriy Lysetsky is a penetrating portrait of the artist Ivan Prykhodko. The film lovingly depicts his personal, almost shamanic creative method, and also presents to a wide range of viewers the inner world of the artist full of images of Ukrainian folk culture.
