SPECIAL SCREENINGS OF BOBE-MAYSES IN KYIV AND TEL AVIV

Recently, the animated film Bobe-Mayses brought together two countries. On October 4, simultaneous film screenings took place in Israel and Ukraine.

The event was attended by Mark Dovev, Advisor to the Embassy of the State of Israel in Ukraine; Serhiy Bordenyuk, Head of the National Union of Cinematographers of Ukraine; Olena Honcharuk, Head of the Dovzhenko Center; renowned film critic Serhiy Trymbach; film scholar and critic Aliona Penzii; and other distinguished guests.

After the screening, guests could engage in discussions with the film's creative team and participate in a live teleconference between the venues in Tel Aviv and Kyiv.

We extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for this evening! Special gratitude goes to the National Union of Cinematographers of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv, and the Cinema Club "Created in Ukraine."

If you missed the event, we highly recommend watching the film on YouTube.

The restoration of this animated film was made possible with financial support from the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.
